"As we gather with family and friends this holiday, I ask all New Yorkers to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas - a season of giving and love.
I'd like to personally thank the generous individuals who have donated time or resources to charitable organizations and community initiatives so Christmas can be a little merrier for those less fortunate.
