Today is a great day for all New Yorkers. I am looking forward to working with Mayor Bill de Blasio in the coming years to improve the lives of working families, children and all our citizens. We will work together to advance a progressive vision and policies that will undoubtedly move us forward and provide hope to all our citizens, enacting the changes necessary to keep our city the most dynamic and exciting place in the world. We are facing many challenges, and I know Mayor de Blasio and his entire team are up to the task.
