Flanagan and Heastie Announce Joint
Legislative Budget Schedule
Senate Majority Leader John J. Flanagan, Assembly Speaker Carl E. Heastie, Senate Finance Committee Chair Catharine M. Young and Assembly Ways and Means Committee Chair Herman D. Farrell, Jr. today announced an agreement on a joint legislative budget schedule that sets deadlines for the adoption of a sixth consecutive on-time state budget.
The agreed-to legislative budget schedule for 2016 is as follows:
