Here at the Assembly Task Force on People with Disabilities, we believe that every New Yorker deserves a strong community around them and equal access to opportunities. That's why we're committed to delivering on the solutions that matter most to everyone striving for equality and fairness.
My colleagues and I are looking forward to meeting with advocates and creating meaningful legislation that will help improve the standard of living for New Yorkers with disabilities. As the Task Force's chair, I'll continue to lend my voice and energy to improving living conditions, fighting for fair wages for home care workers, and increasing accessibility, among many other things.
If you have any questions, comments or concerns, please reach out to our Task Force office at 518-455-4592. And please keep checking back here to stay up to date on what we're doing to support New Yorkers with disabilities.
