Peconic Bay Community Preservation Fund Revenues are $84.39 Million for First 11 Months Of 2016 Compared with $91.05 Million in 2015

Assemblyman Fred W. Thiele, Jr. (I-Sag Harbor) today reported that 2016 revenues for the Peconic Bay Community Preservation Fund for the first 11 months produced revenue of $84.39 million. A year ago $91.05 million was collected for the same period, or 7.3% percent LESS than last year. November revenues totaled $7.41 million. CPF revenues for the same month last year were $9.51 million or 22.1% LESS than a year ago.

Since its inception on 1999, the Peconic Bay Regional Community Preservation Fund has generated $1.179 billion. The CPF has generated $93.63 million in the last 12 months.

Thiele stated, "The CPF revenues in the first 11 months of 2016 are less than 2015 by 7.3%. CPF revenues are on pace to exceed $90 million for the year. The decline over the past year can be attributed to the Hamptons, primarily the Town of Southampton which has seen revenues dipped by $6.29 million. "
