Dear Neighbor,

It's an honor to have been elected to serve you in Albany! From now on, I'll be sending out weekly updates to keep you posted on the work we're doing, both in the capitol and here in the district.

I'm so humbled by the kind words we've been receiving these past few weeks. It's your support and encouragement that makes me so excited to work for a better future for all of us. You can stay up to date with community news and daily updates by following me on Facebook!

As always,

Safety Concerns at PS 104Q

I was appalled to learn from the Principal and parent leaders about the lack of basic safety measures, like stop signs, around the PS 104Q. In a letter to Department of Transportation, I requested an immediate traffic study, and that they implement safeguards right away. As a mom of public school children, I know that no fights are more important than the fight for basic student safety. We will keep pushing with the parents and leaders of PS 104 until their students are safe.

Stacey named to influential standing committees!

I'm humbled to announce that I'll be serving on some crucial committees in my first term, with issues impacting the people of the 23rd District and across the state: Veterans' Affairs, Consumer Affairs, Racing and Wagering, and Governmental Employees. I thank Speaker Heastie for allowing me to use my service on these committees give families in southern Queens a strong voice in Albany

Thanks to all who came to our local swearing-in!

I'm so touched by the outpouring of support and affection from the over 250 constituents, elected officials and community leaders who took the time to attend my inauguration! The best way I know to show my gratitude is by upholding the oath that I took this past Sunday, and working every day to provide you with responsiveness here at home, and energetic representation in the State Capitol.
