Pheffer Amato Finds Purrfect New Addition to Team Stacey

Assemblywoman Stacey Pheffer Amato partners with Noah’s Ark Animal Rescue to adopt an office cat

Today, Assemblywoman Stacey Pheffer Amato (D-South Queens) adopted a cat from Noah’s Ark Animal Rescue. The cat received medical attention and a full evaluation from the Rockaway Beach Veterinary Services and will be residing at the Assemblywoman’s Rockaway District office.

“Rescues like Noah’s Ark make sure animals are treated humanely, that they get spayed and neutered, and that, whenever possible, they find a furever home.” said Pheffer Amato. “Team Stacey is so excited to open our doors to our furry friend!”

Noah’s Ark Animal Rescue was founded in 2015, and is described on its Facebook page as” “We, as member of Noah’s Ark Animal Rescue NY, vow to do everything in our power to: protect, foster, rehabilitate, and ultimately find adoptive homes for all orphaned, neglected, abused, abandoned, and homeless animals of the Rockaway Beach Community. We have been inspired to form this rescue group by the rescued and fostered pets that have already touched our lives. It is in their honor that we vow to advocate for the humane treatment of all animals by helping control pet overpopulation through our direct rescue efforts, foster home placement, and spay/neuter all of our rescued animals.”

“It is always a pleasure teaming up with Assemblywoman Stacey Pheffer Amato and together doing amazing things for our community.” said Denise Hock President/Co-Founder of Noah’s Ark Animal Rescue. “We are Noah’s Ark are overjoyed for the new beginnings that will be provided for this very lucky cat. Congratulations on the new addition to their family.”
