Weprin Completes Tour of District Precincts on National Night Out

Hollis, New York – On National Night Out, Assemblyman David Weprin (D-Hollis) visited a number of events hosted by local Queens police precincts. During his tour of events hosted by the NYPD’s 102nd, 105th, 106th, 107th, and 111th precincts; Weprin met with precinct captains, police officers, community leaders, neighborhood residents and fellow elected officials from the 24th Assembly District. Celebrating its 33rd Anniversary this year, National Night Out is an annual event seeking to strengthen police/community relations and increase awareness of anti-crime efforts across the country.

“National Night Out brings our dedicated NYPD officers face-to-face with community residents in casual and fun atmosphere.” said Assemblyman David Weprin. “We all see what’s been happening across our country recently and events like National Night Out go a long way towards building a positive relationship between police and the community.”
