Assemblywoman Nolan hosted a State Fair at Sunnyside Community Services this past Wednesday, bringing representatives from more than twenty agencies and community groups to connect with Sunnyside seniors and constituents. State fairs provide the opportunity for residents in communities to explore what services city and state agencies have to offer, to ask questions, and to receive information for themselves, their neighbors, and their families. Over one hundred seniors and neighborhood residents participated.
“Thank you to all of the residents who came out today, and to the city and state agencies, elected officials, and community groups, for helping to make this state fair a great success” said Assemblywoman Catherine Nolan. “It is important that we continue to ensure that our city and state agencies remain accessible to all in our community, and that our community remains engaged, informed, and empowered. Thank you to Sunnyside Community Services for hosting this event, and to all those that participated.”
