Amy Paulin Set to Honor Tuckahoe Women of Distinction

Tuckahoe – Assemblywoman Amy Paulin (D-88) is pleased to announce that she will be hosting her third annual Women of Distinction Awards ceremony on April 17. This year’s honorees will be from the Village of Tuckahoe.

Paulin has honored the women of Pelham (2014) and Bronxville (2015) to help celebrate Women’s History Month, which occurs each March. County Legislator Sheila Marcotte and Tuckahoe Mayor Steve Ecklond will join Paulin this year in honoring these extraordinary women and their efforts to improve the Tuckahoe community. The ceremony will take place at the Tap House (16 Depot Square, Tuckahoe) from 4-6 p.m.

“March is Women’s History Month so let’s use this time to acknowledge and nominate the women in our community who work to make a difference,” Paulin said.

Nominations should be sent to paulina@assembly.state.ny.us and must include the nominees’ qualifications and why she should be considered as a Tuckahoe Woman of Distinction. Nominations should include Tuckahoe Women of Distinction in the subject line of the e-mail. The deadline for nominations is April 1.
