Brabenec Meets With Orange County Farm Bureau In Albany

Assemblyman Karl Brabenec (R,TCN-Deerpark), who has been inducted into the New York Farm Bureau’s Circle of Friends for the past three years, met with representatives from the Orange County Farm Bureau today in Albany. Brabenec has been an ardent supporter of Hudson Valley agriculture and Black Dirt Region farmers.

“It was a pleasure to meet with some great people from our local farm bureau here in Albany and to accept the 2017 induction into the Circle of Friends,” Brabenec said. “Our Hudson Valley farmers are so important to the local economy, from creating jobs to providing products that end up on dinner tables all over the state. The agriculture industry will always have my support, and I look forward to their continued success.”

Brabenec champions the “Grown in New York” campaign to increase the sale of locally grown produce in the Hudson Valley. He is also fighting to include more local fruits, vegetables and dairy in New York schools.
