Barclay Honors Zonta Club of Oswego’s 60th Anniversary

Assemblyman Will Barclay (R,C,I--Pulaski) recently honored Zonta Club of Oswego for celebrating its 60th anniversary. Founded in 1955, Zonta Club of Oswego is a service club comprised of professional, civic- and community-minded women who serve and advocate for women. Some of the local projects Zonta has been involved with include raising awareness about domestic violence, assisting families in need and partnering with the Salvation Army, assisting in highway cleanup efforts, and enriching the Oswego community. The group meets regularly. Assemblyman Barclay recently spoke at the annual meeting, congratulated the group for their milestone, and presented Zonta Club of Oswego with an Assembly Resolution to commemorate the occasion.
