Barclay: Grant and Zero-Interest Loan to Assist Phoenix with Water Projects

Assemblyman Will Barclay (R,C,I—Pulaski) released the following statement today after it was announced by the Governor that the Village of Phoenix was awarded a $318,657grant and a zero-interest loan for $926,396 through the New York State Environmental Facilities Corporation to help with water improvement projects.

“I am glad the Village of Phoenix was awarded this grant and the zero-interest financing to help facilitate improvements to public water projects. This state funding will help reduce the costs of this project and keep the Village of Phoenix moving forward with key infrastructure projects. I applaud the local leaders and community members who have worked hard to see this come to fruition and thank the Governor for supporting Phoenix."
