Assemblyman Stirpe to Host His Annual E-Recycling Drive

Assemblyman Al Stirpe (D-Cicero) announced that he will be hosting his annual electronics recycling event. Stirpe will be partnering with Sunnking Inc., to collect various home and office electronic equipment, including: computers, cables, routers, copiers, fax machines, video and audio equipment, phone systems, projection equipment, small appliances, electronic kitchen and bathroom devices, entertainment consoles, TVs, speakers, cameras, rechargeable batteries, fitness trackers, mobile devices, cable boxes and more. Stirpe will also partner with Spectrum to provide this free event for the community. Stirpeā€™s drive is unable to accept smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, devices containing liquid mercury, gas-powered equipment, CDs, DVDs, VHS and cassette tapes, hazardous waste, materials containing liquid, appliances containing Freon like refrigerators and air conditioners, radioactive material, alkaline, wet and dry cell batteries, broken CRTs and propane tanks.
