Morinello Appointed To Assembly Judiciary Committee

Assemblyman Angelo J. Morinello (R,C,I-Ref-Niagara Falls) is pleased to announce he has been appointed by Assembly Minority Leader Brian M. Kolb (R,C,I, Ref-Canandaigua) to serve on the Assembly Judiciary Committee.

Morinello will look to draw from career experiences in this new role as he is the only member of the Judiciary Committee who has presided as a judge in the past.

“It is a great privilege to be appointed on the Judiciary Committee and I’m eager to use my past experiences as a judge to work on behalf of my constituents,” said Morinello. “We’re living in a dangerous time where a lack of transparency and ongoing corruption scandals continue to steal headlines. As a member of the Judiciary Committee, I’ll ask the tough questions and work to ensure total accountability by all. I am pleased that Leader Kolb appointed me to serve on the Judiciary Committee and I’m confident that my judicial experience will greatly benefit my fellow committee members and the residents of New York.”

In addition to his new role, Morinello will continue working on the Committees on Codes, Housing, Labor, Tourism, Parks, Arts and Sports Development and Veterans’ Affairs.
