Assemblyman DiPietro & Arcade Elementary Help Brighten Valentine’s Day For Area Seniors

Assemblyman David DiPietro (R,C-East Aurora) visited with Mrs. Carol Dojanowski’s first grade class at Arcade Elementary School to assist students with a Valentine’s Day project that distributes hand-made cards to area seniors. DiPietro has been visiting with many elementary schools around the newly created 147th Assembly District in recent days. The Assemblyman was at Arcade Elementary in order to thank the children for helping create Valentine’s Day cards for those in nursing homes and Meals on Wheels clients. DiPietro collected the cards and brought them to the nursing homes where they were to be distributed.

“The children of Arcade Elementary put together some of the best Valentine’s Day cards I’ve ever seen. You tell these kids they are working for a good cause and they take right off. It’s great to see that in the next generation of New Yorkers. I’m really looking forward to delivering these. I know they’ll make a lot of people very happy,” DiPietro said.
