DiPietro Calls for More Infrastructure Funds

Assemblyman David DiPietro (R,C-East Aurora) spoke on the need for increased investment in infrastructure through the Consolidated Local Street and Highway Improvement Program (CHIPS). The program is responsible for repairing local roads and bridges through funds given to local municipalities.

“CHIPS is essential to our local communities. It allows town and village governments to repair and properly upkeep the roads we travel on each and every day. It creates jobs, ensures our safe travel, and helps our economic development. I’m proud to see so many legislators sign on for an increase of $150 million to improve our roads and bridges.”
