Assemblyman Angelo J. Morinello (R,C,I,Ref-Niagara Falls), in conjunction with the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office, will be hosting a free boater safety course on March 25 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Frontier Fire Hall in Wheatfield, located at 2179 River Road.

“While having an exciting and enjoyable time out on the water is what all boaters strive for, safety on the water is just as important,” said Morinello. “This course will help educate some new boaters and refresh the memories of seasoned boaters as well. I want to thank the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office and the Frontier Fire Department for their efforts in coordinating this event and being proactive in creating a safe 2017 boating season.”

Those who are interested in attending are encouraged to make a reservation by calling (716) 438-3346, however walk-ins are welcome. Lunch will be provided for a $5 fee.
