Assemblyman Miller Cleans Up Canal With Local Residents

Recently, Assemblyman Brian Miller (R,I-New Hartford) spent a day cleaning up the area around Lock 17 in Little Falls as part of the Canal Clean Sweep 2017 event in honor of Earth Day, which is celebrated on April 22 every year. Also participating in the event were Roger Stock, Herkimer County Legislator Peter J. Campione and plenty of local residents.

“This is a nice event that is held annually to get out and clean up the areas around the New York State Canal System,” said Miller. “Taking pride in your community starts with keeping it clean and beautiful, and I can tell you that there are a lot of people in this district who love their community and come out to these events to show their support and pitch in.”
