Miller Announces Toys For Tots Drive

New Hartford District Office to serve as drop-off location

Local residents in New Hartford and surrounding areas will be able to let their holiday spirit shine by donating to Assemblyman Brian Miller’s (R,I-New Hartford) inaugural holiday toy drive. Today, Miller announced that his district office will serve as a collection center for Toys for Tots until December 19.

“The holiday season is one of the best times of the year, but for too many families who cannot afford gifts for their children, it can be a difficult time,” said Miller. “My staff and I would like to help bring a little extra cheer to families in need. We hope every child in our district is able to unwrap at least one gift that is on their list for Santa. I am asking the residents of our local community to help us collect as many new, unwrapped toys as possible. Donations can be dropped off at my district office in New Hartford. I would like to thank you all in advance for your generous contributions. With your help we can make a lot of local children smile.”

Donations can be brought to Assemblyman Miller’s District Office, located at 4747 Middle Settlement Road, New Hartford.

Toys for Tots is a not-for-profit organization run by the U.S. Marines and the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves. To date, the program has distributed more than 530 million toys to over 233 million children in need.
