New York, New York- Assemblywoman Carmen De La Rosa has announced the launch of her Summer of Service Initiative designed to bring additional services and resources to the community during the summer months. Every week, the Assemblywoman’s office will be hosting service providers to assist the community with healthcare, housing and legal needs. In addition, the Assemblywoman will be available for weekly walk-in constituent service hours. The office will host their extended office hours every Wednesday from 10am to 7pm, in order to accommodate constituents who work until 5pm or later.

The initiative will also include a series of resource fairs and events in the months of July, August and September.

“I have always shared the belief that government is most effective when it is transparent and focused on bringing tangible services to local communities. This summer of service initiative will bring service provider, mini resource fairs and open houses to continue to make our offices open to all who have needs in our community.” said Assemblywoman Carmen De La Rosa “Our community has so many needs, and our primary responsibly as an elected official is to make sure our communities are equipped to resolve the issues they are facing head on.”
