Join Assemblymember Richardson For National Night Out
The people of the 43rd Assembly District deserve to live in a secure community, free from worries about crime and personal safety. This Tuesday August 4th, communities from around the country will be coming together to observe National Night Out, a night for concerned citizens to band together and exchange ideas and raise awareness about crime prevention.
"Since the first National Night Out in 1984, violent crime has decreased by more than 50% in New York State despite a population increase of more than two million residents," Assemblymember Diana C. Richardson noted. "National Night Out is a tremendous program to build partnership and trust between residents and local law enforcement. This event showcases the power of community engagement, and I am so proud to take part in it."
Please check the schedule below for events in your community, and join Assemblymember Richardson in taking part in National Night Out.
