Assemblyman Braunstein Announces Mother's Day Essay Contest Winners

Assemblyman Edward C. Braunstein (D-Bayside) announced the winners of his Mother's Day Essay Contest for students in grades two through five:
- 2nd Grade Grand Prize Award: Andrew Wang from PS 203: The Oakland Gardens School.
- 3rd Grade Grand Prize Award: Isabella Chang from PS 159 in Bayside.
- 4th Grade Grand Prize Award: William Lucente from PS 79: The Francis Lewis School in Whitestone.
- 5th Grade Grand Prize Award: Celeste Marrero from Divine Wisdom Catholic Academy of Bayside.
“Congratulations to all of the winners. Nearly 350 students from schools throughout Queens participated in my Mother's Day Essay Contest and I was extremely impressed with their heartfelt and creative entries,” said Assemblyman Braunstein.
All winners received a New York State Assembly Certificate of Merit as well as an Amazon.com gift card.
