Assemblyman Ed Ra Announces Blood Drive at Gold Coast Library Annex

Assemblyman Ed Ra (R-Franklin Square) invites his neighbors to a blood drive on July 31st at Gold Coast Library Annex, 40 Railroad Avenue in, Glen Head. The July 31st event is an opportunity to help those in need and save lives by giving blood. Those wishing to participate should be in good health and bring photo I.D, weigh at least 110 pounds, be between the ages of 16 and 75, and not have gotten a tattoo within the last 12 months (unless applied in New Jersey).

There is an award of 2 Mets tickets to every presenting donor. Call Assemblyman Ra’s office at 516-535-4095 to schedule an appointment.

“With New York in the middle of a blood emergency those who participate will be helping provide a critical resource to our area doctors and hospitals.” Ra said. “Those physically able to participate can help save a life.”
