Ra Organizes Successful Food Drive to Help Struggling Long Island Families

Today, Assemblyman Ed Ra (R,C,I-Franklin Square) announced that his food drive to benefit Long Island Cares generated over 1,300 pounds of items that will feed people in need in our community.

Ra is extremely thankful for the generous contributions of his friends and neighbors.

“I’m so appreciative. We know that no one should go to bed hungry, and I want to personally thank everyone who donated and took the time to help neighbors in need,” said Ra.

Ra noted his appreciation for King Kullen in Franklin Square. They hosted the food drive.

“The response from our community was overwhelming. We are proud to support the great work done by Long Island Cares to feed the hungry on Long Island,” said Ra.
