Ra Questions Governor’s Priorities Heading into State Of The State

A statement by Assemblyman Ed Ra (R-Franklin Square)

“The governor has listed myriad proposals ahead of his State of the State Address. Taken together, they fail to address the two main issues plaguing the state we love- our public safety crisis and our lagging statewide economy. Until he has a deal with legislative leaders to restore judicial discretion and allow duly elected judges to hold cartel operatives, sex criminals and domestic abusers until their trials, everything he says is noise. Until he has a plan to cut taxes, reform regulations and build a sustainable economy that can close his $6.1 billion budget deficit, it’s all noise,” said Ra.
