Peconic Bay Community Preservation Fund (CPF) Revenues are $68.90 Million for First Three Quarters of 2016 Compared with $71.86 Million In 2015

Revenues Are 4.1% LOWER than Last Year; Cumulative CPF Revenues Total $1.163 Billion

Assemblyman Fred W. Thiele, Jr. (I-Sag Harbor) today reported that revenues for the Peconic Bay Community Preservation Fund (CPF) for the first three quarters of 2016 produced $68.90 million. A year ago $71.86 million was collected for the same period, or 4.1% percent LESS than last year. September revenues totaled $7.37 million. CPF revenues for the same month last year were $7.31 million or 0.8% MORE than a year ago.

Since its inception on 1999, the Peconic Bay Regional Community Preservation Fund has generated $1.163 billion. The CPF has generated $102 million in the last 12 months.

Thiele stated, "The CPF revenues in the first nine months of 2016 are less than 2015 by 4.1%. CPF revenues are on pace to exceed $90 million for the year."
