Finch Says The Assembly Majority Must Turn Focus To Middle Class

A statement by Assemblyman Gary D. Finch (R,C,I-Springport)
February 6, 2018

“The Assembly Majority in Albany must embrace a serious agenda. In recent days, they’ve shown us their priorities: free tablets for incarcerated felons, free college for illegals, and, because they just can’t help themselves, Tide Pods. We need to get focused on what’s important. We can only afford to ask taxpayers to invest in what really counts- revitalizing our infrastructure, battling the heroin epidemic and fair funding for our public schools upstate. When it comes to promoting public health, I think my constituents would be willing to abstain from eating laundry detergent if we’ll prioritize implementing solutions to real problems like algal blooms in the Finger Lakes.”
