“New Yorkers are calling our offices asking the same thing over and over: where does the state budget stand? This is the largest budget in our state’s history, yet our constituents have been left in the dark about where funding will be directed, how much funding certain programs will receive and when the budget will actually be passed. This is ridiculous considering it is the lives of fellow New Yorkers across the state who this budget will impact. It’s time to call on the Albany Majority to be upfront and direct with us about current budget proceedings that have been conducted behind closed doors for too long.”
