Assemblyman Josh Jensen (R,C,I-Greece) joined members of the Assembly Minority Conference at a press conference today to introduce a new bill that would prohibit state agencies from mandating mask requirements for children under 18-years-old in schools and summer camps.

“Local school teachers and parents know what’s best for our children – not bureaucrats in Albany,” said Jensen. “As positivity rates continue to decline and more individuals receive the vaccine, it’s only right that our children should be free to be unmasked. Now that our state is having extremely warm weather, it’s unrealistic to force our kids to continue wearing masks.”
