Brabenec Reflects On Thanksgiving Season, Encourages Giving Back

As we approach Thanksgiving and the subsequent holiday season, Assemblyman Karl Brabenec (R,TCN-Deerpark) is wishing all of his constituents in Orange and Rockland counties and New Yorkers around the state a very safe and enjoyable turkey day. Brabenec is also encouraging local residents to make an effort to give back to the local community by volunteering time or making a donation to an organization aimed at helping those less fortunate enjoy this time of year. “From my family to yours, I would like to wish all of my constituents and New Yorkers a very heartfelt Happy Thanksgiving,” Brabenec said. “I hope everyone takes a moment out of their busy life to cherish this time of year and celebrate the things we take for granted like good health and a strong family. Without these things as foundations, we would not be able to realize many other dreams and aspirations we enjoy. “Although this is a special time of year for many of us, we must keep in mind that many families are struggling in our community and may not enjoy the privilege of a warm Thanksgiving meal with loved one. Please consider making a donation to one of our organizations that does great work on behalf of our community. Even a small act or a couple of hours of volunteering will be helping a family in need and building a stronger Hudson Valley.”
