Assemblyman Karl Brabenec (R,TCN-Deerpark) recently joined members of the Orange County Office for the Aging in Port Jervis to deliver Meals on Wheels to local seniors. The Orange County Senior Dining Program provides nutritious meals to eligible individuals 60 years and older at no cost.

“Delivering meals to our seniors as we begin the holiday season was a rewarding and fulfilling experience,” Brabenec said. “Many individuals in our community are unable to prepare a warm, nutritious meal themselves and it is our job as community leaders to help those in need, especially during the holiday season. I look forward to programs like these as a way of giving back and making us a stronger Hudson Valley. I encourage anyone who is interested to consider volunteering at a program like this or one of our local food banks during the holiday season.”
