On Tuesday, Aug. 1, Assemblywoman Mary Beth Walsh (R,C,I,Ref-Ballston) attended the Saratoga County Veterans Round Table at the SUNY Adirondack Wilton campus. The discussion-based event, organized by Congresswoman Elise Stefanik, brought together several state and local officials, as well as representatives of many of Saratoga County’s veteran interest groups, to converse on several important topics, most notably health care, employment and transportation. The talks proved extremely productive, offering attendees the opportunity to share their ideas on how we can better serve our local veterans.

“I was pleased to participate in this year’s Saratoga County Veterans Round Table event, and have the chance to learn more about the many incredible and innovative programs that Saratoga County has in place for these brave former service members,” said Walsh. “While there is no shortage of creative and beneficial services here in Saratoga County, Tuesday’s discussion also illustrated that there is still much work to be done. I look forward to continuing to work with Congresswoman Elise Stefanik, as well as our community’s many veteran advocacy groups, towards our common goal of ensuring these men and women have access to the support they need.”
