This past Sunday, March 12th, Assemblywoman Stacey Pheffer Amato (D-Rockaway) attended a Purim Party at the West End Temple in Neponsit. Between eating hamentaschen, spinning gragers and the Purim pageantry, the Assemblywoman and her daughter relished the warmth and camaraderie of their home community.

“The story of Esther is one we keep coming back to, especially in times like these,” said Pheffer Amato. “The Jewish community has always been a source of strength and hope for me and my family. I wanted to thank the West End Temple for their hospitality and for a great time. I wish all of my constituents, and all who celebrate, a happy Purim!”
