This past Saturday morning, April 21st, Assemblywoman Stacey Pheffer Amato (D-Queens) attended the opening day ceremony of both the Rockaway Little League at Fort Tilden and the Broad Channel Little League at the BCAC Fields. On hand for the Opening Day Ceremony were parents, Little Leaguers, volunteers and other elected officials, including New York City Comptroller Scott Stringer and State Senator Joseph P. Addabbo, Jr.

“Rockaway Little League and the BCAC have such amazing programs that teach our children valuable lifelong lessons while having fun,” said Pheffer Amato. “I am looking forward to working with these great organizations and of course watching some baseball/softball games!”
