Pheffer Amato Speaks at Torah Academy for Girls Graduation

Far Rockaway, Queens- This past Sunday, June 17th, Assemblywoman Stacey Pheffer Amato (D-Far Rockaway) was honored to be a featured speaker at the High School Graduation for the Torah Academy for Girls. One of the highlights of her speech was when she spoke of the importance of giving back to the community, which is emphasized in the well-regarded programs at TAG, and to her own experience serving by giving back.

“I have so much respect for TAG, not just as a great, high level educational institution in Far Rockaway, but as a place that produces well rounded students,” said Pheffer Amato. “The brightness you see in these young women and the dedication of their teachers are both clear to see and clearly interrelated. I am so proud to present the New York State Assembly Award for Community Service to Tova Lovett and Zahava Stroock for their incredible leadership and devotion to giving back!”
