Neponsit, New York Last week, Assemblywoman Stacey Pheffer Amato (D-Neponsit), State Senator Joseph P. Addabbo Jr., The Simon Wiesenthal Center, Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz, and the West End Temple hosted a Town Hall for Action aimed at decreasing hate and antisemitism. The event had over 50 attendees and featured a dynamic panel to facilitate a question and answer session. The conversation will continue on March 5th, at the Bayswater Jewish Center, for the 2nd Rockaway Town Hall for Action.

“I want to thank the Simon Wiesenthal Center, the West End Temple, State Senator Joseph P. Addabbo, Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz, and Captain Hall of the NYPD 100th Precinct and all of the great panelists for participating in our Decreasing Anti-Semitism and Hatred Rockaway Town Hall for Action,” Assemblywoman Stacey Pheffer Amato said. “Our community came out in full force, and I was extremely proud. The dialogue was constructive and positive, and showed us that together we are greater than divisive rhetoric and the attacks occurring in our community.”
