Assembly Speaker & Mayor Come to Our Community to
Honor Assemblyman Cymbrowitz & His Wife Vilma
Assemblyman Cymbrowitz and his wife, Vilma, were doubly honored last May when not only
did they receive Man and Woman of the Year awards from the High-Way Democratic Club, but
their awards were presented to them by Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver and Mayor
Michael R. Bloomberg.

Assemblyman Cymbrowitz Visits Our Local Schools
Believing that it is important for our young people to learn about government firsthand,
Assemblyman Cymbrowitz regularly visits the schools in our community to talk to the
students about his job and also to hear what they have to say.

the robot, is "resting" on the table. The team took first place in NYC's First Lego League
Robotics Championship and earned a place in the First Lego League World Festival,
which was held in Atlanta.

Assemblyman Cymbrowitz' mobile community office has been adding locations. Here he and
his staff are pictured at St Mark's Family Day. The mobile office also regularly visits the
Midwood and Kings Highway branches of the Brooklyn Public Library System and the
Sephardic Community Center.

Assemblyman Cymbrowitz is Working to Keep Us All Safe
Assemblyman Cymbrowitz helps fund the Nottingham Association's motorized neighborhood patrol.

To reduce the likelihood of cell phone theft and increase the chances of a stolen phone being
returned, Assemblyman Cymbrowitz sponsored a cell phone registration with the 61st Precinct, at
his community office. A police officer wrote an invisible code on the phone to enable arresting
officers to identify the phone if it's found on a suspect or turned in by a Good Samaritan.
