New York’s Prescription Drug Program
Brian Kolb knows that for millions of senior citizens living on fixed incomes, affording
life-saving prescription medicine isn’t a luxury – it’s a necessity!
That’s why Brian Kolb wants you to learn about EPIC, a program that helps seniors pay for their
prescription drugs. More than a quarter million EPIC enrollees are saving an average of 90
percent off the cost of their medicines.
EPIC is available to state residents 65 or older, with annual income under $35,000 (single) or
$50,000 or less (married). Enrollees must also join a Medicare Part D plan (with limited
exceptions). To learn more about EPIC, call the program’s toll-free hotline at
1 (800) 332-3742.
Partnership for Long-Term Care
The New York State Partnership for Long-Term Care is a unique program combining long-term care insurance and Medicaid Extended Coverage to help New Yorkers financially prepare for the possibility of needing nursing home care, home care or assisted living services someday.
The Partnership for Long-Term Care allows New Yorkers to protect some or all of their assets, depending on the insurance plan purchased, if their long-term care needs extend beyond the period covered by their private insurance policy.
You can learn more about the Partnership for Long-Term Care by calling, toll free,
1 (888) NYSPLTC (1-888-697-7582).
