I fully support Governor Pataki's call for a special session Thursday to resolve the school funding impasse. With time running out on the July 30 deadline, both houses of the Legislature must work diligently together to resolve this issue that has been the stumbling block towards a budget accord. If we can come to resolution on CFE, I'm confident that a budget agreement will soon follow.
