New York State Assembly Minority Leader Brian M. Kolb (R,C-Canandaigua) spoke to the New York Conference of Mayors (NYCOM) during the organization's Winter Legislative Meeting today in Albany. Leader Kolb addressed several challenges facing localities, including budget flexibility, property taxes, state aid to localities, and parity in infrastructure spending between upstate and downstate.
Leader Kolb, speaking before U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara, also called for the end of Albany's "Three Men in a Room" budget negotiations and highlighted the Assembly Minority Conference's steadfast action on anti-corruption reform.
