Assembly Minority Leader Will Barclay (R,C-Pulaski) had the honor of being the guest reader at the Williamstown Public Library story hour today. Leader Barclay said it was great to see the kids and encouraged them to participate in the Assembly Summer Reading Challenge. Williamstown Librarian Laurie Hale (pictured with Leader Barclay) and her staff, with the help of library trustees, are finding creative ways to draw people into the library, encourage literacy with book clubs and reading contests, and partner with other groups that have found a great space in the library’s community room.
