Assembly Minority Leader Brian M. Kolb (R,C,I,Ref-Canandaigua) spoke at a luncheon for the Developmental Disability Alliance of Western New York (DDAWNY) on Thursday, July 12. Leader Kolb addressed the room, made up of representatives from agencies throughout the Finger Lakes Region who provide support and services for the disability community, and discussed the on-going challenges they face.

Leader Kolb and the entire Minority Conference are staunch advocates for the rights of people with disabilities. The Conference has successfully fought to restore millions of dollars in budget cuts to programs and services, advocated for fair wages for direct care professionals, and held forums across the state to address the needs of people with disabilities.
