Speaker Heastie Statement on the Passing of Former Assembly Majority Leader James Tallon

I was heartbroken to learn of the passing of former Assembly Majority Leader James Tallon today.

James deeply understood that healthcare needed to be accessible and affordable, and spent his years in public office fighting to ensure care for our most vulnerable.

James was a true public servant and his loss to our state is tremendous. I would like to extend my condolences to his family and pray for their comfort and healing during this time.
