Agency Mission
The Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) operates under the direction of the State Liquor Authority (SLA), a three-member board appointed by the Governor. The Division is responsible for licensing establishments serving alcohol throughout the State and enforcing the Alcoholic Beverage Control Law. This agency is included in the General Government appropriation bill.
Year-to-Year Change
The Executive requests $13,702,400 funding to support the Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control. This amount represents an increase of $2,062,200 in State Operations funding from the prior year reflecting annualization of SFY 1998-99 salary adjustments.
