Agency Mission
The State Board of Elections administers and enforces all provisions of the New York State Election Law and oversees the disclosure of campaign financing and practices. The four member bi-partisan Board is appointed by the Governor for two year terms on the recommendation of the State party chairs and legislative leaders.
