Agency Mission

The State of New York Mortgage Agency (SONYMA) is a public benefit corporation which uses tax exempt and taxable bond sale proceeds to fund low interest mortgages for low-to-moderate income first-time home buyers.

Year-to-Year Change

The Executive proposes an increase of $24,446,0000 in total contingency appropriations for the State of New York Mortgage Agency from State Fiscal Year 1998-99.
