CONCURRENT RESOLUTION OF THE SENATE AND ASSEMBLY
providing for the election of eight Regents of the
University of the State of New York
WHEREAS, The term of one Regent of the University of the State of
New York elected At Large and the terms of the Regents of the University
of the State of New York from the second, fourth, eighth, ninth, and
tenth Judicial Districts expire on the thirty-first day of March in the
year two thousand twenty-five; and
WHEREAS, The current terms of two Regents of the University of the
State of New York elected At Large are vacant due to resignation; and
RESOLVED, (if the &HOUSE concur), That pursuant to the provisions of
section 202 of the education law, the vacancies created by the
expiration of these terms and for other cause are hereby filled by
concurrent resolution; and
RESOLVED, (if the &HOUSE concur), That Hasoni Pratts of the county
of Kings be re-elected Regent of the University of the State of New York
from the second Judicial District for a term of five years commencing on
the first day of April in the year two thousand twenty-five; and
RESOLVED, (if the &HOUSE concur), That Dr. Roger P. Catania of the
county of Essex be re-elected Regent of the University of the State of
New York from the fourth Judicial District for a term of five years
commencing on the first day of April in the year two thousand
twenty-five; and
RESOLVED, (if the &HOUSE concur), That Keith B. Wiley of the county
of Erie be elected Regent of the University of the State of New York
from the eighth Judicial District for a term of five years commencing on
the first day of April in the year two thousand twenty-five; and
RESOLVED, (if the &HOUSE concur), That Dr. Frances G. Wills of the
county of Westchester be re-elected Regent of the University of the
State of New York from the ninth Judicial District for a term of five
years commencing on the first day of April in the year two thousand
twenty-five; and
RESOLVED, (if the &HOUSE concur), That Felicia Thomas-Williams of
the county of Suffolk be elected Regent of the University of the State
of New York from the tenth Judicial District for a term of five years
commencing on the first day of April in the year two thousand
twenty-five; and
RESOLVED, (if the &HOUSE concur), That Dr. Lester W. Young, Jr. of
the county of Queens be re-elected At Large a Regent of the University
of the State of New York for a term of five years commencing on the
first day of April in the year two thousand twenty-five; and
RESOLVED, (if the &HOUSE concur), That Roger B. Tilles of the county
of Nassau be elected At Large a Regent of the University of the State of
New York for a term of one year commencing on the first day of April in
the year two thousand twenty-five; and
RESOLVED, (if the &HOUSE concur), That Brian J. Krist of the county
of New York be elected At Large a Regent of the University of the State
of New York for a term of four years commencing immediately.
