  TITLE OF BILL: An act to amend the general business law, in relation to lease vehicle protections   PURPOSE OF BILL: Makes provisions relating to lease vehicle protections.   SUMMARY OF SPECIFIC PROVISIONS: Section 396-z of the general business law is amended by adding a new subdivision 15 to read as follows: Every lease shall itemize and set forth in detail all costs required to be paid by the leasee or purchaser of the rental vehicle upon termination of such lease.   JUSTIFICATION: This bill will work better to protect the leasee of a vehicle by making the leaser supply a list of itemized costs to be paid at the end of the lease.         AN ACT to amend the general business law, in relation to  lease  vehicle
          protections
 
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:

     1    Section 1. Section 396-z of the general business  law  is  amended  by
     2  adding a new subdivision 17 to read as follows:
     3    17.  Every  lease  shall  itemize  and  set  forth in detail all costs
     4  required to be paid by the lessee or purchaser  of  the  rental  vehicle
     5  upon termination of such lease.
     6    §  2.  This  act shall take effect on the thirtieth day after it shall
     7  have become a law; provided, however, that  subdivision  17  of  section
     8  396-z  of the general business law, as added by section one of this act,
     9  shall survive the expiration and reversion of such section  as  provided
