animal abuse hotline

PURPOSE OR GENERAL IDEA OF BILL:
To create a 24-hour animal abuse hotline established by the attorney
general's office.

SUMMARY OF PROVISIONS:
Section 1 creates the 24 hour animal abuse hotline. The attorney general

incidents received by the hotline will be transmitted to the appropriate
state agencies, local law enforcement, or non-governmental organizations

enforcement agency, or non-governmental organization. Information
regarding this hotline will be accessible to the public through the
attorney general, helping residents easily report instances of animal
abuse throughout our state.
